Jan 28- Feb 3: Matthew 3, Mark 1, Luke 3

This past week was incredibly stressful for me for a number of reasons.  I found myself on my knees on more than one occasion.  So, focusing on the light of Christ and my personal testimony of His life was much needed.  I was confiding to a friend and she gave me such wise counsel that the Lord will always provide a way.  I carried this with me and by the end of the week, my burdens were lifted.  Over the past several weeks, our family has been blessed by so much unexpected charity, kindness, and support from others.

We went to Las Vegas over the long weekend so we only had one night of family study this week, but it was much needed to get out of town and have some family time together.  We enjoyed viewing the lunar eclipse last Sunday night and had a campfire with some extended family.

Two thumbs up for campfires, s'mores, and the moon!

This coming week focuses on the accounts of Jesus Christ's baptism and a call to repentance to prepare our hearts for receiving the fullness of the Gospel.
