Object lesson from Little LDS ideas This is on resisting temptation, you can discuss temptations we are all faced with and then things that can help us resist those temptations. Take a bowl of water and sprinkle black pepper in it. This represents the things that tempt us. Pour a drop of dish soap into the water and it causes the pepper to move away from the soap. This represents the power we have to resist temptation.
Another fun object lesson this week would be to talk about the power that fasting adds to our prayers. Get 2 bowls of warm water and add a tsp of yeast to each. The yeast represents our prayers. Add a tsp of sugar to one bowl (this represents fasting) and see how the sugar helps proof the yeast faster and stronger.
